Subliminal messages are everywhere..... They're in ads, on TV, in music,
in the clothes you wear, in articles like this one. In fact subliminal
messages are hidden in virtually everything that we do. As a matter of
fact, often times when you speak to someone, you are sending them a
subliminal message and may not even know it
According to the dictionary subliminal is defined as “existing or
operating below the threshold of consciousness; being or employing to be
intense enough to influence the mental processes or the behavior of the
individual.” In other words a subliminal stimulus; is one that is not
apparent to the conscious mind, but is directly targeted to the
subconscious mind.
For those who say: “Oh this is all just new age, hocus pocus. It doesn’t
really do anything.” Let me point out that the United States Government
positioned a ban in 1974 on the use of subliminal messages on television
and radio. If it doesn’t really work, why would they do that? Reports
declared that the ban was put in place because using subliminal messages
"gave individuals and companies too much of an edge".
Anyone who talks about subliminal messages will probably throw in the
infamous "Eat Popcorn/Drink Coke" study by James Viceroy in the 1950s. The
impact of his study was in the spread of the common knowledge of
subliminal messaging, as months after his study was conducted, 41% of
respondents of the survey had heard of the term subliminal advertising. By
the 1980s, over 80% of the surveyed were aware of the term, and 70%
believed that it was effective.
The question becomes, why would companies spending
millions of dollars on advertising waste their time with subliminal images
if they did not believe they were effective? The simple answer is, they
wouldn't. Advertising executives have known for years that ALL messages
influence human behavior, subliminal and otherwise.
Today subliminal messages are used in many different ways. Big retail
stores use subliminal messages to trim down on theft. Celebrities such as
Tiger Woods and Anthony Robbins maintain that subliminal messages are a
significant component of their success. Thousands of people have used
subliminal messages in audiotapes or CD’s to help them succeed in school,
improving self-esteem, careers, quitting smoking and even weight loss.
Olympic athletes have used subliminal messages for years. They visualize
themselves crossing the line, running the race, or making that perfect
dive: often years before they get to that event. Is it cheating; or as
the government says giving individuals too much of an edge? In my opinion
the answer is a resounding NO! These individuals are simply using all of
their full potential to do or perform the best that they can.
If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, we suggest you unlock
your FULL potential and put your subconscious mind to work for you. You
were not put here on earth by accident; you were not designed to fail.
Your mind has the ability to take you places that you have not even dared
to dream were possible. Let these subliminal CD’s work for you!! |
