Tip #7: Curve Adjustments Photo
By: Tedric Garrison (Photoshop 7)Open the image you want to modify. On the image menu (3rd from the left)
Click on Adjustments, then click on Curves . . . this will bring up a graph
similar to the one below called: "the Curves Dialog Box".
At the top of the Curves Dialog Box there is a drop down menu that by
default says: RGB. Go into that drop down menu and select Red. At this
point your arrow icon will change to a "+" sign. Place the "+" at the very
center of the grid and click once, this will place a point on the graph that
you can now control with the "+" sign. This allows you to control the
overall levels of that color in your image. Play with it, it's not an exact
science, however . . . take your movements in rather small increments,
because it does change the photo dramatically.

Remember to click the "OK" button to apply any changes you've made.
Do the same thing again with both the green and the blue colors on the
drop down menu. This is not something you would use everyday, but
if you have a photo similar to that above where the overall color is a bit
off, you can make it much more pleasing to the eye. See Photo below.
