Back in Photoshop Tip #2,  I created
this graphic to show those of you
who don't know that most windows
keyboards do have a way for you to
 print the screen.
Step 1: If you Click on this key
(Arrow "A") it will save the
 screen image to the clipboard.

Step 2:  When you go into Photoshop and click on "File" (Arrow "A") the very first thing you will see is the selection "New" when you click on that it will open a new dialog box similar to the one below.  Under the Preset Sizes (Arrow "B") select 1024 x 768. Once you do this and click OK, it will open up a new blank window.  Simply hold down the CTRL and the V key at the same time to paste your captured image.

** NOTE:  This shot is NOT made using the PrtScn Key.

The problem is that your captured image is always full screen and full size.  It is much sharper than the image below, but it is also much bigger.  To use just a section out
of the entire screen shot you end up cropping and loosing clarity.  (Similar to trying
to make an 8 x 10 print from a 110 negative.) That's why many Photoshop Tutorials
tend to be blurry.  See image below.

Better Photo Tips | Photoshop Photo 20  This is NOT a paid advertisement,
  however there are several cheap
  alternatives that give you more
  options. The program called:
  "Screen Shoot It" is available
  at a very reasonable price.
  Click picture for link.

**NOTE: This program allows you to copy up close and personal.  One section at a time, means that your graphics look MUCH sharper.
